About Me

How would you describe your professional self?

I am a cosmetic injecting specialist who also has a focus on holistic improvements in my patients general and overall health.

I’ve always been drawn to medicine because it’s the meeting of science and health care. Being able to use science in order to improve people’s health and therefore their quality of life is an idea that has always excited me.

I was drawn specifically to the preventative medicine and anti-ageing side of medical practice because it is the future of medicine.

For far too long western medicine has focused upon purely upon treating disease once it has occurred whereas the emphasize should be upon making people as healthy as possible so that they don’t get sick in the first place and if they do then they bounce back quickly.

Anti-ageing medicine is all about maximizing people’s health so that they can look and feel great.

What made you want to become a doctor and work in this field?

After starting my medical career with a strong interest in general surgery and emergency medicine one day my life took an unexpected turn when at the end of a long and busy overnight hospital shift I was struck by the realisation that nearly every patient in the ward that I was treating was sick and in hospital because of poor diet and lifestyle choices.

I realised that no matter how much we advanced our medical technology, and no matter how many doctors and nurses that we trained, we were always going to be fighting a losing battle unless we confronted the actual root causes of disease and in doing so stopped them from ever occurring in the first place.

After that day I changed the focus of my career to preventative, cosmetic and anti-ageing medicine. Previously my study had always revolved around dealing with disease but after this epiphany my study now focused upon diet, nutrition, exercise, supplementation and skin health.

My goal as a doctor now is to assist my patients to achieve an optimal state of wellbeing and health to help them to live a healthy, long and prosperous life. I know that if we can learn to take care of our bodies through proper diet, exercise and lifestyle modification that our quality of life can be maintained and sustained for a long period of time.

What’s been an accomplishment for you in your career?

Being able to improve my patient’s health on the inside through proper diet and lifestyle modifications, whilst also being able to make them look great on the outside with my skills as a cosmetic doctor has always been very satisfying.

Nothing feels better than being able to help someone achieve an optimal state of health and wellbeing whilst helping them to look their best at the same time.

What do you hope to achieve in the future?

I hope to become a force for change within the medical community to help the more conservative sides of medicine see the benefits of the anti-ageing and preventative medicine paradigms. Modern Western Medicine could be so much better than it is today if we just opened our minds to a more progressive and innovative future.
